Although she lives locally now, Lucia was born in Milan but lived and studied in Paris. After studying natural nutrition and the macrobiotic diet she worked as a chef in one of Paris’ first vegetarian restaurants. Later she changed the emphasis of her career and began to study dance, hatha yoga and meditation. Which led her to look into studying body awareness/consciousness through the practice of Do In and of Chi Kung.

On moving back to Italy she settled in Tuscany and later took up studying Tai Chi-Chuan which she has been doing now for 10 years. These days she is the Director of Centro Samaya, a centre for body and mind awareness, which is based in near by Castiglion Fiorentino.
